CLICK HERE FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SEED ORDER!
Each Seed type is packed in their individual glassine envelope and labeled;
these air-tight envelopes allow you to reseal and store your seeds for later use& if you use
the whole pack, you can remove the outside label and attach it inside for your eow markers.
For the record, we stored these exact seed types, from these sources, ten years ago, in
just rolled baggies. Last spring, we tested germination for all of them and to our surprise,
we had viability in excess of 90%! While individual seed viability depends on the type and
age of the seeds, our goal is to present them in as long-lasting environment as possible.
From discussions with ag. specialists, we calculate that our Seeds should retain superior
viability for at least twice this long: remember that ancient, 2,000+ year old wheat grain,
found in Egypt, was found to grow well today& [and the wheat contained nutrients not
found in modern wheat, incidentally].
We include our Growing Guide, packed in each can, so youll have basic information regarding proper spacing, planting, and harvesting of each plant. This is the same
guide that we offer here at no charge for download: we want you to see exactly what
you're getting. If you decide not to purchase from us, we hope the guide will still be of assistance to you, and hope you'll let us know how your garden grows and any tips you might have for our gardening community. We have created this product and Website to connect, share, and spread the word about the joy of gardening and heirloom Seeds as much as we are to make our Seeds available so, please use our resources, regardless!
Enclosure in our #10 cans provides the long-term protection to assure your seeds will be as they were when you bought them. You've probably noted that our total price is significantly less than purchasing even the usual small, 22-30 non-hybrid Seed packs individually (almost 50-60% less, when you consider our Seed count). Whether you use your seeds for this seasons harvest, or save them in your emergency stores, rest assured that when you need them, they'll be there are ready to grow.
Listed below are the vegetables and herbs we pack in each Garden and Herb Can.
We CAN accommodate special orders or requirements, but most gardeners find these selections to be the most desirable and good all-around growers.
